I was wearing my Ayuzawa Misaki costume during the episode. Also, we did talk about a lot of stuff during the taping but when it came down to editing, I think those were the ones who made the cut.

I didn't announce that I'll be going to this event so this might come as a surprise post to everyone, hihi~

I went there to check out the event and check out a few shops for some lenses that I need for my cosplay plans. Here are some photos of the booths in the event. :D

I also went to the GUNPLA Area to check out the model kits for sale. I was really tempted to buy one on the spot but I thought: "priorities first Rhianna!" and that was looking for lenses for my cosplay. But I just couldn't get enough of GUNPLA~~~

ANIMAX was present at Cosplay Mania 2013 last October 5 to 6 at the SMX Convention Center.


The booth was open starting October 5 and had a few activities running. I was at the event on October 6 so I can't say much about what went on on Day 1. Gomen~

Moving on to day 2!

So I went around 2pm but had to wait until it was time for me to go up on the Activity Area Stage which was around 3pm.

We officially announced the ANIMAX Carnival and the Cosplay Competition as well and gave away a few Animax Premiums. We also had an on the spot registration for those who were already in their favorite Hunter X Hunter, Fairy Tail and Naruto costume.

After the stage time, I went on to the ANIMAX booth for the photo opportunity with those who lined up. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to those who lined up and waited for me. I was actually surprised that there were those who were at the event as early as 7am! O.o

I also went by the SugarFree and Blue booth ^^V

Again, thank you very much to those who went in line and waited for me, to those who visited the ANIMAX booth and those who participated in our stage time! Special thanks to Sugarfree and Blue for my clothes at the event!

If you have been following these two manga series, then you know that they have already released their final chapters.

If not, don't worry, I won't spoil anything for you in here. Just wanna share my two cents on how each series ended.

Vampire Knight by Hino Matsuri

I actually first knew of this title from its anime release which was "Vamire Knight" and "Vampire Knight Guilty." But I wasn't actually satisfied with how the series ended so I looked for its manga releases. I continued reading the chapters after the events in the anime and at that time, the manga was only about 15 chapters ahead. After that,  I have been following the series every month sometimes even after 2 months until its final chapter.

When I first read the final chapter, I couldn't accept the fact that it was the end. I mean, it felt like everything just ended abruptly - it gave me no time to prepare on what was going to happen. There were of course opening pages indicating that the 'end' of the final arc is near and then the next chapter just ends everything. And the story kind of went fast-paced in the last few chapters compared to the steady and sometimes slow pace of the earlier ones.

Anyway, going back, I just wish that there was like just a few chapters that would kind of justify the final chapter. And I did read the final chapter over and over again until I have come to the acceptance of it being the final chapter and that is how Hino-sensei wanted it to end.

I still collect volume releases of Vampire Knight from Chuang Yi Publishing though. :D

Kaichou Wa Maid-sama by Fujiwara Hiro

Now, after reading Vampire Knight, I went on a Shoujo manga reading frenzy and one of the titles that I read was Kaichou Wa Maid-sama!

It was actually the story that I really had an attachment to especially Ayuzawa Misaki's character. I can identify some parts of her personality with mine.

So yeah, the latest update was the last chapter and compared to my feeling with the end of Vampire Knight, this was much more fulfilling and happier.

I was happy because Misaki and Takumi [Usui] have mutually agreed on what they want to do with their lives. The chapters leading to the end provided enough points to prepare us on what will happen in the end.

Overall

I do recommend that you read these two series if you're a fan of the Shoujo genre. And if you are reading this and haven't updated yourself with the chapters, well it's time that you did!

I'm actually sad that these two series ended already but there's Fairy Tail [which is also about to end?!] and a lot of other Shoujo mangas that I'm still reading. Still, my attatchment to these two titles was built over the years and it's really sad that I have to accept that they both ended.
