Gundam Cafe Shop: Akihabara

10:42 PM

During this trip, I was able to go to 2 Gundam Cafes and in this post, I'll be showing you the Gundam Cafe Shop in Akihabara. I wasn't able to dine in the Cafe itself as I wanted to go around Akihibara more. I asked the staff permission if taking pictures is fine and they said okay so I went crazy! Haha! Anyway, a little tip when going to Japan. Taking pictures of everything is okay with most stores but when you see a sign that says that you can't take pictures, don't risk it. If you can't really sit well with that, ask the staff if you can take pictures.

iPhone users get a treat as all of the cases are made to fit iPhone 4/4S, 5/5S

Really digging that HARO pen... O.o

Gundam-themed sweets! :D

Gundam Mugs. YES.

HARO Cookie/Candy Containers!
More sweets~

The branding per mug is different if you buy it from Gundam Front, Odaiba!

Unicorn Gundam Mug~

Neo Zeong Mug~

The food is quite pricey but when I checked the menu, everything is Gundam-themed! You must definitely drop by if you're in the area!

Beside the Gundam Cafe is the AKB48 Cafe & Shop as well. So if you want to stay at Akihabara for the whole day, make either of them your Lunch or Dinner place and grab an afternoon bite at any maid cafe in the area!

How to get to Akihabara:

  • Ride the JR Line to Akihabara Station (Sobu Line or Yamanote Line)
  • Hibiya Line, Akihabara Station
  • Ginza Line, Suehirocho Station - This is bit far but it will get you to the edge of Akihabara. But from here, you can start going through the streets where you can find small shops until you get to the populated areas where most people go.
Akihabara's pretty close to where I'm studying, takes me around 10-15 min, so after school, I usually go here. If not, I'm touring other places! Hihi~ But I've been to Akihabara and Harajuku a lot of times. Anyway, thanks for reading! 'Til the next post!

  2. Yeah! Eiri did mention that you were there! Thanks for sharing your experience at the shop as I wasn't able to go in >.< But I did check the menu and they are, indeed, very creative! I forgot what they called the rice meal that's shaped like Char's Zaku but it looked nice! Although the price is kinda expensive... O.o
